Ichor

Daphne Chia and I met up for a ballet photoshoot at St John’s College. Despite the cold and the rain we climbed up on the roof of the Cripps building to get a better view, and with the hope that perhaps the sky would clear up. As you might have guessed from the name of the blog post, it did not clear up, but we did get some great photos regardless.

In Greek mythology Ichor is the ethereal fluid that is the blood of the gods and immortals.

The Cripps building was designed by Philip Powell and Hidalgo Moya and built in the 1960s.

We had a patch of blue sky for a short while among the clouds before it closed up again.

Many thanks to Daphne for a fun photoshoot! Next time we hope for better weather. Sunsets can be amazing on top of the Cripps building. For more dance photos, see the dance category on the blog.
