Under the Bridge

Yesterday Carola Ax, Philippa Klondiras and Nicole Rydell joined me for a photoshoot under Tranebersgbron in Stockholm. Our plan was to use the concrete pillars and the setting sun to create some beautiful photos. We met up at 16:00 at Kristineberg’s underground station and walked the short distance to the bridge. We were also joined by Edvin Cedervall Olofsgård who helped out during the shoot. Here are my favourite photos from the evening.

There were beautiful streams of light coming between the pillars. Here Carola Ax stepped into one of them. I photographed from the side to get more texture in her skirt, and to get a dark background.

As the sun moved the streaks of light shrunk. Here Philippa Klondiras threw up sand and gravel to create this pillar of light.

We did several shots for this photo of Nicole Rydell. First we photographed with just the concrete wall in the background, but it turned out better when we included a bit of the birdge on the outside.
