Viva Vinyāsa

Tara Kearney has been training to become a yoga instructor. She actually finished her course a short while before I finished typing up this blog post. This is our third yoga photoshoot, you can find the other shoots also here on the blog if you click her name at the end of the blog (or for the lazy, just click here). On this day we visited the sculptor John McGill who has a beautiful studio in a refurbished barn which is located in an orchard but a cab ride away from Cambridge. It was raining a bit in the beginning so we started inside, then towards the end we went outside for a few more photos. Here are some of my favourite photos from the shoot.

Bakasana / Crow Pose
Camatkarasana / Ecstatic Pose
Urdva Dhanurasana / Wheel Pose
Vrischikasana / Scorpion Pose
Vasisthasana / Richest Pose Variation
Ardha Chandra Chapasana / Half Moon Pose Variation

Stepping outside after the rain subsided
The orchard was littered with Greek statues. A photographer’s wet dream.

Many thanks to Tara and John for a great photoshoot!
