We will always have Paris

Sunday was our last day in Paris, and we decided to spend the morning at Sacré-Cœur which has a spectacular view over the city. When we arrived there were only a few people there, but soon more started to show up. Among them a crew of dancers that were recording a dance video. The weather forecast had warned of rain and thunderstorm, but luckily it had changed during the night and we had pretty good weather.

We ordered in a plate of escargot, cooked land snails, to share. It was surprisingly okay to eat, a bit tricky to get the snail out of the shell. Here Annie Magee and Genevieve McMahon perpetuating the moment on Instagram.

After lunch Annie had to head to the airport, while Lucy, Gene and I headed out into the Latin Quarters.

Double exposure of Genevieve and Lucy McMahon
We played a bit with double exposures at Palais du Luxembourg. On Canon cameras you get live preview so you can see how the double exposure will look, but on Nikon you have to do it by trial and error. Slowly you learn, and it really helps to use the guides in the viewfinder to align things in the photo.

It was incredibly fun to go to Paris for a photoshoot. A big thank you to Annie, Lucy and Gene for joining me on this adventure!
