Faint Echoes of Imperfection

Coming up with the right title for a blog post is never easy. A title sets the tone, framing the photos and altering the context for the observer. Often I find myself spending hours searching for the right words. Iterating, trying different combinations. Sometimes, it feels frustratingly close — I have a sense of what I want to convey, but the words do not fully form. This time, I wanted the title to capture our struggle to come up with good poses. We were trying to seize something fleeting, ethereal, and momentary, and not only that, we were striving to capture something as close to the idealised version as possible. Something that would leave an echo, a trace in time. A reflection to be revisited 10, 20, or even a hundred years from now.

Last Friday was the national day, and time for a photoshoot with Klara Lindqvist, Emma Blonz and Sara Blomqvist who just began their summer holiday from Balettakademien. Sara arrived first, and we started photographing down by the water here in Näsbypark.
