Khiimori

The first photoshoot of the year was with Indra Kleinert and Alice Stefansdotter Dahl. The blog post title Khiimori, is a mongolian word where Khii (хий) means wind/breath/invisible energy, and Mori (морь) means horse, a symbol of strength, movement and freedom. Together it means a person’s spiritual vitality, confidence, fortune, and forward motion in life.

Outside the window the winds were blowing and it was snowing, so we decided to go outside and try to get some wintery photos also. Unfortunately the snow had stopped falling by the time we got to our location, but we still had quite a bit of wind.

My parents have been renovating their bathroom, and were staying with me for a month. Dad had brought his little French chair and walking stick. So before returning them I was happy that we managed to get some photos with both the chair and the walking stick as props.
