This past Sunday Linda Räihä Arvidsson, William Jögi and Emelia Nordsken came out for a dance photoshoot in Näsbypark. We started at nine in the morning and spent the day photographing in the Green Room. We experimented with different styles, outfits and props. I have not shot much hiphop before so it was challenging and fun to try a bit of that. For the hiphop I choose to use a wide angle lens to play a bit with distortions, making the body parts closer bigger and elongating the parts in the periphery. Most of the photos during the day were improvised with us throwing around ideas for what to do — it is my favourite way to photograph. I feel it is more creative and really inspiring when everyone participates in the process. The day ended 14 hours after we started, when we had finished sorting the photos. A really long day, but very rewarding. Here are some of the photos we created.
