This past Thursday Andrea Helander Kramešová came out to Näsbypark for a dance photoshoot together with her daughter Vivienne. This is our second photoshoot together, the previous time we were at an old abandoned concrete factory. Both times we have managed to pick days when it rained. The upside is that rain adds to the mood of the photos, and especially when you are close to water you can get some really beautiful photos.
Andrea had brought several different dresses, but we ended up using only the white one by the water since it made her stand out more against the background.
In addition to Vivienne, my two nephews Frank and Philip, and my mother, joined us and helped out with taking some behind the scenes photos and video.
Even though rain is great for the photos, it also means it gets cold quite fast. So we eventually packed up and headed back to the Green Room for the second part of the photoshoot. Andrea had brought a beautiful red-brown dress that belonged to her mother, which worked really well with the green walls.
When I was writing on this blog post I realised that the next two photos fit together really well with Andrea’s arms connecting to the feathers in the picture above. Vivienne had a lot of fun with the feathers, and was a great help gathering them up between the takes.
I bought a few new frames a couple of days earlier, so it was really fun to try them out in this photoshoot. First we used the smaller frame, but its size was a bit constraining, so we switched to the bigger frame.
We had time for one more outfit change, this time black. Normally I would suggest lighter colours, especially on an overcast day when there is less light, but the new camera handled it very well.
Behind the scenes video. Vivienne did a great job helping to film in the beginning, and Philip helped with the second part. He was really fascinated by the birds, as you might be able to tell…
Many thanks to Andrea, Vivienne, Frank, Philip and Margaretha for a really fun photoshoot!
