Would That I

Kicking off the new year with an amazing photoshoot with Paula Garcia. We listened to a Hozier playlist on repeat, which gave name to the blog post. Paula had brought with her a series of different outfits, the first one we started with was a beautiful dress that her aunt had used back in the day.

Paula Garcia, we wanted to include the fresh snow somehow, while still remaining indoors.
Paula Garcia. I really like to see how the dancers get creative on this vintage chair that I bought at the local red cross.
Paula Garcia had borrowed this skirt from Balettakademien’s custom store. It paired really well with the dried reed stalk that I had salvaged in the spring.

After lunch we decided to use the daylight that was left. We pulled the curtains to create a small strip of light that we used to create dramatic shadows.

This fur cloth was a random purchase from Ohlsons tyger in Täby centrum. Some day I will try and have something fun made from it, but for now it works great as a prop creating beautiful texture

Last outfit change of the day, this time a black costume with my grandfather’s stepfather’s old top hat from 1943.
