Nicole Persson graduated from the Royal Swedish School of Ballet last year. She still lives in Stockholm and we had been talking about doing a new photoshoot for some time. Since it is still pretty cold this winter we decided to meet up at the Royal Institute of Technology which has some beautiful old buildings from 1917 designed by Erik Lallerstedt. The university was pretty empty on that Sunday morning and we found ourselves an empty classroom to photograph in. Here are some of my favourite photos from the photoshoot.
You are a bit limited with what you can do in a window. So we moved some tables and chairs to clear up a bit of floorspace for the next set of photos.
There is a flight of stairs leading up to one of the lecture halls. At the top of those stairs is a space with windows in the roof, which gives a very beautiful light from above. There is also some beautiful line art on the wall which we incorporated in some of the photos.
It was so beautiful outside with the snow that we decided to do the last few photos outside. There is a great arc at the entrance to the courtyard which creates a nice framing.
A big thank you to the talented Nicole for a fun photoshoot! If you want to see more photos with Nicole, check out our previous photoshoots.
