Last week I met up with Kale Lazarick and Matthea Pedersen from the Royal Swedish Ballet School for a dance photoshoot in Näsbypark. We started outdoors at Kråkudden, which is beautifully situated not far from the train station, and then we headed indoors to my apartment for the second half of the photoshoot.

We had a bit of cloudy skies but that just adds to the mood of the photos.Kale LazarickKale LazarickKale Lazarick, found a small stone just under the surface of the water. Walking on water.Matthea Pedersen spotted the reed, so we made a small detour into the vegetation.Matthea Pedersen and Kale LazarickKale Lazarick and Matthea PedersenMatthea Pedersen and Kale LazarickKale Lazarick. I always keep an eye out for natural frames. Here by photographing from a low angle we could get rid of the shoreline in the background and just have a clean background behind Kale.Matthea PedersenMatthea Pedersen. Another thing that is great fun is to find shapes in the environment and try and mirror them with different poses.Kale LazarickKale Lazarick. I reduced the contrast on the tree in the background to put more emphasis on Kale’s pose.
Despite it being end of May it was getting a bit cold, so we decided to switch locations and head indoors.
