IBAGS 2019

This past week the 13th International Basal Ganglia Society conference took place at Biarritz in France. Since we work on the basal ganglia, a big group of us from the Royal Institute of Technology and Karolinska Institute flew down for the conference.

The conference was held at a Casino situated right by the beach in Biarritz.
I was a bit lazy, and some of these photos are actually taken with the mobile phone, like this one.
Another photo straight from the mobile. The Samsung S9 has a pretty decent camera.

On Wednesday afternoon we had a break from the conference and there were scheduled social activities. I spent the time doing a dance photoshoot on the beach.

The pilots at SAS were on strike throughout the conference, but luckily the strike ended late on Thursday evening, so the planes were flying again on Friday.
