Last Saturday I met up with the Pink Week crew at Clare College for a photoshoot. I asked Emma Walsh to tell us a bit more about the charity and the things they were organising.
Plans for Cambridge Pink Week 2017 are well underway. Our two aims are raising both money and awareness for breast cancer care & research charities. The week will turn Cambridge pink with events ranging from a supper club to a speaker’s panel and a ball to a morning rave. Pink week 2016 raised £24000 and the team is working hard to make this year even bigger and better!
Here are the photos from our shoot. There is a link to the Pink Week Facebook page at the bottom, where you can find out more about their work.
Tunnels and archways are great for portraits. A bit of shadows help define the shape of the face. By taking a small step into the archway, you get light coming in from the front, and then a bit of shadows on the side. This particular archway also provided a nice darker background to make the people in front of the camera stand out more.
After the portrait session we haded to the backs to get some more group shots.
