This past Saturday Ellen Olson and I travelled out to the old church ruin at Össeby. The church was built during the 1200s and abandoned in 1837 when two communions were merged. In 1856 the church was struck by lightning, and burned. The church was partly restored during the 1960-70s, and the church is nowadays used for outdoor services, concerts, weddings and baptisms.
Many thanks to Ellen for a fun photoshoot!
