Concrete Poetry

This Saturday morning I set the alarm clock early, to take the train and bus to meet up with Isabella Larsson and Li Johansson for a dance photoshoot in Rålambshovsparken. Even though we arrived just before 8:00 there was already a group of skaters there. The weather was amazing, a perfect Swedish summer day! Here is a selection of my favourite photos from the day.

Li Johansson. With the sun so low in the sky we got cool shadows to play with.

Li Johansson. The concrete is really slippery, so you have to come with speed if you want to make it up.
Li Johansson. It is always fun to play with the shapes that the shadows create.
Isabella Larsson. This little skate pit does not look like much, but it has amazing light. Since the light comes from the top, the legs get a bit darker, which is why we use the reflector.

We took a small break, and headed up to Västerbron. There is a great little spot where you get both concrete and trees. I really like this mix of nature and urban.

For the last set of photos we wanted some concrete pillars, so we headed back to Lilla Västerbron. Bridges are great, because regardless of weather you can always shoot there and it will have pretty good light.
