Prelude to Spring

Today Eléa Bigot from the Royal Swedish Ballet and I met up for a morning photoshoot. A couple of days earlier I had scouted this beautiful location along the water, so we decided to head over there. The water level is quite high lately, and this jetty has become separated from land.

I discovered ballet a little by chance when my mother enrolled me at the age of 4 in a small local ballet school. I really liked it and decided, after discovering competitions and the joy of dancing alone on stage, to devote myself fully to it. So I joined the VM Ballet in Toulouse, a professional ballet school and trained there for 5 years. At 18 years old, after obtaining my baccalaureate, I realized that I wanted to discover new horizons. So I auditioned for a one-month summer intensive at San Francisco Ballet School, where I was offered the opportunity to stay for another year to complete my training. After a year in America, I obtained my first apprentice contract with the Semperoper Ballett in Germany. Then in October 2021, I joined the Royal Swedish Ballet in Stockholm, surrounded by dancers of 22 different nationalities.

We then headed back indoors, grabbed some lunch and looked through the first set of photos. After warming up we did the second half of the photoshoot in my kitchen and the Green Room.
