Rust, Dust, Lust

This past Saturday Alma Faringer Hultberg and Jennie Thomasson, who both studied at Iwanson International School of Contemporary dance, joined me for a roadtrip and photoshoot.

Alma is from Stockholm, and is now working as freelancing contemporary dancer and choreographer. Next week she travels back to München to choreograph “Goodby Bird” a new modern opera that premiers in December, which she will also dance in.

Jennie grew up in Älmhult, but now lives in München where she works as a dance teacher. She has done several music videos and danced at Bayerische Staatsoper. She specialises in jazz and contemporary.

It is always fun to explore new places. There is something very special about these old and abandoned derelict locations.

Behind the scenes video showing our adventure. We had originally planned to visit the quarry, but there was a barrier blocking the entrance. So we photographed in the old building instead.

Many thanks to Alma and Jennie for a fun photoshoot!
