This photoshoot happened a while back. It was for the cover of the book that Sanna Nordin Bates is writing about dance psychology. I just checked my inbox, and this project started back in June 2020, and this was the second photoshoot (link to the first photoshoot) we did for the book. With us we had Ahtayaw Ea from Balettakademien and Felicia Andersson from the Royal Swedish Opera. In addition we had a set of newly designed clothes bye Linn Hermander (Linn Kristina Design).
The vision we had for the photoshoot was a double exposure photo, with a face in profile and then a dance pose inside the head. Ideally against a blue sky. We decided to head up to Ullnatippen in Täby, which is an artificial hill of deposited dirt, gravel and other things. In Swedish you could say that we were at the peak of the deposit or “toppen på tippen”, hence “Tipp topp”. It is also the name of a classical Swedish ice cream.
