Surreal Perspective

This past Monday I met up with Sara Larsson and Wilma Ring for a dance photoshoot under Tranebergsbron in Stockholm. We were also joined by work colleague Ania Tokarska who lives in the area. Normally I try and bring a minimal kit, but this time I brought both tripod, flashes and a pack of gels with different colours. The gels lets us colour the light, as you can see further down. Wilma had also brought some body colour for us to play with.

Sara Larsson was first on location, and she had brought this orange-red coat which looked great against the concrete.

Wilma Ring also brought an orange outfit, and some body colour that we started to plaint with.

Sara Larsson flicking her hair. For some reason this reminds me of the scene were Galadriel is offered the ring by Frodo in Lord of the Rings.

We switched gears, and started doing some yoga inspired poses, which lead to the next set of photos. These were the photos that gave the blog post its name. I really like photos where you have to stop for a second to figure out what is going on.

It started to get darker, and we decided to bring out the flashes.

It was getting late, and we were finally realising we were quite hungry, but there was a little bit of energy left, so we did a one last set of photos. The street light turned on, so these last photos are shot with wide aperture and only the existing light.

A big thank you to Sara, Wilma and Ania for a fun photoshoot. If you have not seen Flourishing Movements, our previous photoshoot with flour, go check that out.
