Sara Larsson and I met up in Gävle to record a dance video. We spent the better part of a Sunday afternoon recording, which was a lot of fun. We were at gasklockorna in Gävle, which is a really amazing place to film at. Sara is a very expressive dancer, and when you film you capture so much more than when you just photograph stills, so will definitely do this more. Here is the video we made:
This was the first time I used my gimbal to stabilise the camera. It weights a bit, so you can not do it for more than a couple of hours. Another important thing to be aware of is that lights often flicker at 50Hz, which means that if you film above that frequency you will get the flickering. Switching from 60Hz to 50Hz made the flickering go away for us.
