Tokyo workshop

The Second Stockholm-Tokyo Workshop on Multidisciplinary collaboration for sustainable development
was held at the end of October 2018. Jeanette Hellgren Kotaleski and I were invited to Tokyo for the workshop by Mia Lindskog. The aim of the workshop was to facilitate collaborations between Japan and Sweden. Below are some photos showing a glimpse from what we did.

Björn Högberg presenting his work on DNA origami. The idea is that you take a single stranded DNA string, and then find places where you want to tie it together, which you do by generating a second DNA strand that matches at the two locations.
At the end of the first day we got a tour of the Cryo-EM facilities at Tokyo University.
