With only a few days to use the old apartment and the projector I contacted Anna Holmström from Petricore Movement that I had photographed with recently and asked if she would be interested in doing one more photoshoot. She was flying back to Berlin on Sunday morning, but we managed to find a few hours on Saturday evening. The setup was similar to what I used for the projection photos during the Thursday evening photoshoot. In addition to the projector we placed a flash behind Anna, to clear the image from the wall, creating a cleaner look. It is really important to have good images for the projector, we found that colourful paintings and abstract patterns were great, preferably with high contrast.

Anna was amazing in front of the camera, with a great awareness of what poses worked, and a huge library of positions from her dance and rythmic gymnastics training that she could use as building blocks for new creative poses. Here are some of my favourite photos from the evening.

Anna Holmström. I shot most of my photos close to the wooden floor that had a great reflection. In Photoshop I later removed the edges between the wooden boards, and between the wall and floor, to create a cleaner look.

Anna Holmström. We did not manage to cover all windows completely, so as the sun was getting lower, the contrast in the images increased.
Anna Holmström. With lower poses I was able to fit in the whole reflection, and we could start playing with the shadows.

A big thank you to Anna for joining me at such short notice. It was a lot of fun!
