Dancing at Trinity

Yesterday I met up with Hannah Copeland, Domy Cooper, Rebecca Green, Charlie Grieco, Anahita Talwar, Holly Rachel Willis and Harriet Neha Wright at Trinity College for a dance photo session in the cloisters under the Wren Library. We were really lucky with the weather. The beautiful windows provided a wonderful framing for the photos, but we also mixed it up with a few different views.

I am used to mostly photographing one dancer at a time, so decided to first do individual photos, then split them up into smaller groups. Most of the poses were relatively static, but we also tried a few dynamic poses. It was a great way to spend two hours on a Friday afternoon.

Harriet Neha Wright nails her first photo right away. The window photos needed very little retouching, one thing I did do was straighten the perspective a bit to make the window rectangular.

My intentions were initially to have the photo as a silhouette, but during post processing I decided I wanted to show a bit more of Charlie so brightened the shadows.

Domy and Holly had to leave a bit early, but here are portraits of the Anahita, Charlie, Harriet, Hannah and Rebecca that we took just before the porters told us our time was up.

Many thanks to Hannah, Domy, Rebecca, Charlie, Anahita, Holly and Harriet for a great afternoon. Also a big thank you to Trinity College for allowing us to photograph there.

Fantastiske bilder og flott bruk av den fine lokasjonen! Likte godt det aller første, det med tre samtidig mellom hver sine søyler og splitthoppet selvsagt. Jeg er imponert!
